Dust in the Corners

So much dust in the corners:

Where the molding begin to crack

Crevices of broken tiles deepen into lesions

Tumors of Dust, pathogens, grow unabated,

Microbes mutate, metastasized masses,

So much sweeping,

Cleansing, purging, disinfecting

Still, the malignancy multiplies

I don’t know why I worry

No one looks in these corners at all

The secret gathering of dust motes conspiring

Threatening exposure

I know what lurks there

Hidden
